As-salamu alaykum!

I'm Naeema, an illustrator from London & the Artist behind Muslimah Scribbler. 

Growing up, I felt there was a lack of hijabi/islamic & ethnic Representation here in the UK, partcucially at my favourite store. 'The Gift Shop' 

During the pandemic I took the opportunity to dig out my old sketchbook and dust off my Art skills with the inspiration to have Muslimah themed illustrations, prints and stationary dotted across London ready to reach those whom it resonates with. Representation in the commercial world is not to be underestimated. 

I've been freelancing as an illustration Artist since 2021 alongside selling handmade gifts on Etsy & Instagram. Muslimah Scribbler has grown so much since then & I'm very excited to see where it goes. In'Shaa'Allah
